Up In Smoke

Smokers cost their employees nearly $6,000 per year more than employees who don’t smoke, according to research published in the journal,Tobacco Control. Factors contributing to the extra expense include that smokers use the health care system more, which costs companies that self-insure, and lost productivity due to smoke breaks.
